Werner Neff is the author of WHAT WOULD THE FOUNDING FAHTERS TELL US TODAY? and RESTORE TRUST and RESTORE OUR DEMOCRACY as well as RECLAIM AMERICAN DEMOCRACY. He writes and speaks about American democracy for general audiences, focusing on how U.S. government institutions actually work beyond partisan narratives. Drawing on historically grounded dialogue and economic facts, his work explores questions of power, legitimacy, and civic duties in today’s America. His view is non-partisan by design, aiming to foster understanding, reflection, and civic literacy rather than political persuasion.

Neff, has received his Ph.D in Political Science at the Freie Universität Berlin, and his Master’s degree in Economics at Universität St.Gallen, Switzerland. He earned his professional wisdom as an executive in the hospitality industry and later, as an executive at a large Swiss bank.

Neff is living his retirement with his American wife in the mountains of Colorado, enjoying cooking, playing piano, writing, hiking, skiing, and listening to classical music.
